Hey, I'm Rob. My neighbor (@vintagelids) wanted to add a "Haunted Oaks Cemetery" sign to add to his custom front yard haunt / Halloween display in 2022. I had a large format machine that can cut wood. We spoke about what was next for his yard and at one point he asked if it was possible to make a sign with foam letters. His vision of the arch over the cemetery gate was realized after we tried cutting the wood backing to match the foam letters and the double arch design was born. I did the digital design and cut the wood and then he assembled it and worked what I would describe as artistic magic on the sign with the water-spray-and-torch foam distress method and then painted it. It came out looking like a really old sign and ended up being 8.5 feet long with 12" high letters and 1.5" thick foam. After the sign went up and he posted on Facebook and I had requests for 10 more in the 2 months that followed. Signs, tombstones, obelisks, and letters are now available with that have shipped to New Jersey, Ohio, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Illinois, Texas, California, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina, South Dakota, Indiana, Georgia, Dakota, Washington, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Florida. Additionally, there were a couple local pickups from Anoka, MN and Wisconsin.
Halloweenarches.com launched in 2023 and is offering a lineup of standard sign sizes and lettering as well as inscription or logo tombstones, props, and obelisks.
